About Us

Matus Winery is located on the 80-year-old Matus Farm in Wakeman, Ohio. Enjoy our award winning wines while relaxing and taking in the picturesque views of the vineyard and countryside.

Visitors can enjoy wine tasting in our beautiful, 1900’s style showroom as well as tour the vineyard and wine-making room by appointment.

OUR TASTING ROOM

We look forward to toasting with you in our tasting room very soon! To accompany our wines, we always offer tasting room snacks including: cheese & crackers, spinach dip with nacho chips or hummus, and bagged pretzels or chips and check our calendar for special food truck dates. You are also always welcome to bring your own food—just no crockpots or sterno, please.

In the evening, you can stay warm by our outdoor fire pit or have a glass of wine on the romantic, lantern lit veranda. We also have a new covered, heated pavilion and a back deck for awesome vineyard sunsets (perfect for photos!). Matus Winery brings out the simpler pleasures of life that only the scenic countryside can offer.
